3. In the early 90's the Alberni Quartet recorded all six of Mozart's "Haydn Quartets" for IMP Classics (Pickwick). They were then sold at a bargain price but I see that they are now available as collector's items or imports - not without reason, for they are as satisfying as any I know with their uncomplicated musicality and homogeneity of tone/5(2).

Their debut in the Carnegie Hall was well received in the New York Times, and they received positive reviews of their recordings of Schumann's piano quintet, Schubert's string.
